Sony Interactive hat die Liste der erfolgreichsten PS4- und PS5-Titel im PlayStation Store veröffentlicht – mit mancher Überraschung.

Zum Jahresbeginn gewährt Sony Interactive traditionell einen Einblick in die Liste jener Spiele, die in der abgelaufenen Saison zu den meisten Käufen und Downloads im amtlichen PlayStation Store geführt haben – unterteilt nach USA/Kanada und Europa sowie nach Plattformen (PS4, PS5, PlayStation VR).

Bemerkenswert: In den Top 10 der PlayStation 5 finden sich gleich vier Neuheiten von Electronic Arts – zusätzlich zu FIFA 22 und FIFA 21 haben sich auch Battlefield 2042 und der vielfach ausgezeichnete ‚Geheim-Tipp‘ It Takes Two in der Spitzengruppe platziert.

Die Liste hält auch manche Überraschung bereit: So liegt der hochgelobte PS5-Exklusiv-Titel Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart in Europa nur auf Platz 14 – in Nordamerika immerhin auf Platz 6. Hingegen schafft es das erst im September erschiene Action-Abenteuer Kena: Bridge of Spirits auf Platz 7. Erfolgreichster Sony-Titel: das Launch-Spiel Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

Überhaupt unterscheidet sich das Käuferverhalten in den USA/Kanada deutlich von jenem in Europa. In einem Punkt sich allerdings alle PS5-Besitzer einig: Sportspiele sind dies- und jenseits des Atlantiks extrem populär. Auf Platz 1 in Nordamerika liegt NBA 2K22, gefolgt von Madden NFL 22 (Platz 4) und MLB The Show 21 (Platz 8).

Auch die Top 20 der PlayStation 4-Spiele wird in Europa von FIFA 22 angeführt. Auf Platz 2: Rockstars Dauerbrenner Grand Theft Auto 5, der seit 2013 auf dem Markt ist und demnächst für die dritte Konsolengeneration in Folge erscheint. Der Multiplayer-Modus GTA Online wird ebenso wie Red Dead Redemption 2 aus selbem Hause mit immer neuen Inhalten erweitert und sorgt bei Publisher Take-Two Interactive für sprudelnde Einnahmen.
